Cloudy, darker light amber color. Moderate head that fades as expected. Plenty of streaks throughout the tasting.
Mostly caramel with some toffee accents to the nose. There's some stone fruit (apricot or peach) smell. Pleasant floral hop aroma later.
A creamy taste and a creamy body. The carbonation provides a good counterbalance. The taste is less fruity and less sweet than the smell suggests, but it still provides a full malt experience. The hop is straight-up bitter but plays second fiddle throughout the tasting. Shorter aftertaste. Overall, this is the sort of IPA I like--no hop bomb, decent balance, and still full flavored.
