22 oz bottle poured into a nonic.

Pours a hazy orange color with a finger of fizzy foam that dissipates quickly without lacing. Aroma has a grassy hoppiness to it with a substantial crystal malt sweetness in the nose also.

First sip is a rush of grassy/bitter flavor with a sharp bite that fades quickly. A bit of lingering harsh bitter flavor. You can really taste the green hop / vegetal qualities of this beer, but the beer doesn't come together well as a whole. The bitter finish is too harsh and the hop flavors are too biting, all while the sweetness never really asserts itself to meld things together.

I'll pass on this in the future.

In a pint glass this beer was orange colored with a minimal head. There was no lace. A more aggressive pour resulted in a bit of head, but still no lace.

Citrus aroma mostly. Some herbal hops. Sweet malt.

Lots of grapefruit in the taste. Some herbal notes. Caramel malt.

A refreshing beer, good on a summer day.

Not as good as other beers of the same ilk.

Hmm. For a regular pale ale, it would be solid. For a wet hop, it falls short. Reference local favorite PBC Harvest from the hood. Or SN torpedo. Both seem to have much more life to it.

Nice pale ale tastes. Balanced. But I wouldn't know it was a wet hop unless the label said so. Meh.

I got this on the cheap so got a few bottles yesterday.Poured into an imperial nonic a clear burnt orange and brass fusion with a 1/2 finger white head atop that left a broken ring as it settled.Alot of biscuit malt in the nose along with mainly leafy hops, the hops are not big but they have a presence. The malty notes are big as well as the sweetness on the palate, caramel and sweet dough with some sugary sweetness over top of a leafy mild fruity hoppiness.Well like alot of the style it's a little to sweet and malt driven but is a pretty good beer,I just want more hops!
