33 cl bottle, poured well chilled into a pint glass, in Toulouse, France. Very little brown foam tops deep brown brew.
The nose brings dark roasted malt and notes of cocoa powder.
Taste immediately springs to Guinness, somewhere between trad Extra and Foreign Extra, because of the ABV. But without the depth of character and hop balance of either. It’s creamy, got a long pleasant finish, easy to drink. ABV is really well hidden.
Mouthfeel is full, and there’s low to medium carbonation.
Overall, for a supermarket (Casino) to have this as a house brand beer is really cool.
Not to shab at all.,.
