This beer was very dark with just a hint of brown when you held it up to the light. There was little to no head and very little lacing. The smell was a combination of chocolate and malt with little hint of hops.
Taste was fairly hoppy balanced with a strong almost porter like malt. Some what of a hoppy chocolate beer, very interesting. The mouthfeel was think and the CO2 was perfect.
Another really good beer from Sequioa. This is a beer that will sneek up on you. I don't feel the alcohol until I stand up with this beer and then BAM, you feel. Should give it a try if you get a chance.

Nice. What i would think is a typical American brown ale. Thin head with little lacing. Nice brown, but allows some light around the edges. A slight chocolate like smell, with some malty edge. Crisp hoppy bite up front, although it doesn't seem as hoppy as last time. Pretty well balanced with malt. A little high in alcohol to be a session beer. Another fine addition from Kevin
