New on tap at Sequoia. A little early [? it isn't quite October yet]

Dark amber brown with a red light shining through.
Nice cream colored head. Some lace down the glass.

This seems like a pretty good standard Octoberfest, malty aroma and taste. And could be a good session beer. Easy drinking.

I say this all the time but it IS true, .. another great addition from brewer Kevin --thanks!

On tap at Sequoia Brewing Company a few weeks ago.

It was a dark amber/rust type color. Not nearly enough head but decent lacing.
I smelled sweet, bready malt. Some roasted like scents but overall the aroma was too faint.
The taste was good for the style. Caramel and nutty sweetness.
The mouthfeel was a little weak. It tasted watery. The whole experiance of this beer take a downturn at this point.
The beer was very drinkable. Moderate alcohol and hidden well. I could (and did) enjoy several of these at one sitting.

Sampled at a recent trip to Fresno.

Poured in a 4oz sample glass on tap.

A nice copper hue with a small white head that dissipated quickly. Smell is all malt. Taste follows the smell, malt. A little creaminess to it, but not over the top. Hops are secondary, as is the style.

Had a couple Oktoberfest recently (tis the season) and this stands with all of them. Very good to style, at least for an American ale Oktoberfest.
