33cl bottle served into a Trappist Westvleteren goblet in Belfort, France. Reviewed live.
A: Half finger head of slight cream and bad thickness. Terrible retention. Semitransparent cloudy lemon-gold colour.
Sm: Pale ginger, spice, and slight orange colour. An aroma of light strength.
T: Lots of spice, especially ginger and maybe nutmeg. Some light orange citrus ester hops. Simply built and poorly balanced. The spice is bold but fails.
Mf: Smooth and wet, with an unwelcome overdone thickness. Doesn't suit the bad flavours. Is that good or bad?
Dr: Hard to drink on account of its strangeness. Has a high price for low quality. Avoid this one, lads.
