German pilseners are all so similar to each other, but they all taste really good! This one is no exception. Pours a golden yellow, nice head. Subtle sweet and floral aroma. This one tastes refreshing and dry with a bitter bite at the end but no aftertaste, thankfully. A bit more hoppy than expected. Very decent beer. I always know what I'm going to get with a German pils: a tasty, refreshing, pure beer that doesn't suck but doesn't blow my mind either.

Another pils from Germany.

Pour a fair pale straw. Pillowy white head that laces nicely and sticks around. Fair amount of maltiness and fresh hop aroma. Well balanced and true to style.

Alot of beers here seem very similar, I think a good old blind tasting is necessary to be able to pinpoint the subtle differences these fine lagers have.

Straw-colored yellow, very clean appearance. Good head, white and average amount.
At the smell there is a good hop, and even dried flowers and hay notes.
The taste is dry and well definite, fresh, quite bitter.
Standard body, for the style.
Bitter aftertaste, not very longstanding.
A decent german pils, dry.
