Served as a sample at the microbrewery. The color was dark brown-red, with good head. The smell was slightly malty. The taste was of coffee-ish malt, with hints of caramel, and was somewhat dry. The mouthfeel was quite good. Drinkability-wise, I'd have plenty of these!
This is probably the best regular beer that Valhalla offers. Delicious, yet not overly heavy, this is an enjoyable treat I hope to have again.

Another nice offering from Valhalla. It is one of their most popular beers, but it doesn't have the unique flavor profiles of some of their other beers. It has a very pleasing dark reddish-brown color with a thin, long-lasting head. Very smooth malt flavors with a slight touch of alcohol. Exceptionally clean finish. Worth a try, even if you don't usually like dunkels.
Had this again, and I rated it 4's across the board this time. Better aroma and mouthfeel than previous times I'd had this beer.
