Dense tan head that shows excellent retention rests atop an opaque, dark beer. The aroma reveals roasted malt and coffee notes, combined with a sweet chocolate aroma. The taste reveals strong roasted bitterness and coffee flavors, followed by sweet fruit notes. Dark chocolate flavors linger around with a strong bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is creamy and this beer is very drinkable. An excellent beer from this brewpub.
