This is like somebody's homebrew that was supposed to start out as an IPA but wound up being an over malted bastard of some kind. 12 oz bottle poured into Stella goblet:
L - Copper/amber overall. Very short head, with almost no retention.
S - devoid of anything interesting
T - WAY too much malt for me. Sort of metallic, thin and one dimensional
F - Very thin. Almost like water. Little head, very light mouth feel. Leaves nothing on the tongue.
O - wish I hadn't bought this. Oh well ... its drinkable but I really don't like it.

Poured from bottle to pint glass.
Appearance. Good ruby color. Looks like a red ale, not quite as deep as a Hobgoblin. Has a nice, thick, lingering off white but almost white head with plenty of lacing.
Taste. Malt up front, good amount of hops in the back. Hop biterness is lingering.
Smell. Smells like malt and hops, it's a simple beer and smells like beer.
Body. Medium to light body, plenty of carbonation.
Overall. Tastes like an Ale. It's good but not GREAT. Try Wynchwood Brewery's Hobgoblin if you like this and you won't be disappointed. But this is still a good beer in it's own right, I'd like to try it on tap.

Nice Amber color. Light off white head. Subtle smell with faint malt and hops. The malt sweetness comes through nicely. The hops isn't particularly flavorful, but it's actually slightly bitter for my taste. Not a bad beer; I could easily drink all night
