Sampled at the Wednesday tasting at the Rahr's Brewery. Beer pours dark brown into a Rahr's pint glass. There was not much aroma, certainly less than you normally get from a beer of this style. While the aroma was lacking, the flavor was there with flavors of roasted malt and chocolate. Overall a very drinkable porter that I would suggest to anyone who likes good porters.
