Very recent release, labeled as an "Imperial Black IPA" no ABV listed on the bottle

A - Pours like a stout, deep black with a thick, tan foam atop. Not see-through at all, not much active carbonation, looks nice and thick.

S - Cascade hops wrapped around cocoa and mild maple presence. A clean floral hoppy background that compliments the sweet, roasted smells. Very balanced, very powerful. An exciting smelling brew.

T - Delicious. It's like you're drinking a west coast DIPA and a RIS at the same time. The dark stout notes of cocoa, coffee and caramel compliment the aggressive hop profile and the clean, floral character. I will drink this until I can find no more!

M - Quite thick, creamy, but still crisp. A great feel for such a flavorful beer.

O - If you can, find this beer and enjoy. It's one of those very rare "best of both worlds" beers that captures perfectly the dominant characteristics of two distinct styles. Love this brew!
