Had on tap. Mostly clear chestnut brown with a white cap. Barrel gives off more oak than anything, lending itself to an enhanced gentle tartness in both smell and taste. Otherwise, the smell is earthy with spiced, sweet malts, and yeasty esters. Taste defines the esters more as pear, white grape, and apple, has more floral notes too before descending to the dirt laden earth and wood from the barrel. No booze heat to distract, very cohesive and smooth, with great textures from the barrel, grains, malts, and yeast. Artfully elevated
