As described by the brewers. "Beer brewed with Gambrinus honey malt hopped with traditional and mittelfruh."
Beer served in an imperial pint glass. Beer is reddish and clear. Forms a thin head of broken white bubbles. Carbonation is moderate to low and there is no lacing on the glass. Looks OK.
Sweet aroma, strong honey, really interesting.
Big body, totally full bodied beer. Slightly sweet, mold bitterness, you know, this beer tastes just like an Irish Red ale. A little dry finish, big body, all malt in the flavor interesting. Overall its a pretty good session beer.
