Look - poured into a 5 oz tasting glass. Dark golden in color, small head with moderate lacing. beer is generally clear, but there are small suspended particles that makes it lightly hazy.

Smell - grassy hops with some caramel and toasty malts. seems balanced and more of a typical American IPA, not quite as hop forward as a west coast IPA nor at all like an NEIPA.

Taste - surprisingly mellow. a bit more fruitiness on the taste, though some of the grassiness is still there. moderate to moderately-strong hoppiness, with enough of a malty backbone to have some malt in the finish. bitterness lingers for quite some time.

Feel - medium bodied, low carbonation, and standard for ABV at 6.4%.

Overall - an "old school" American IPA with moderate malts, moderately high hops, and a good balance of the two. atypical of Brewer's Art's usual styles and this one isn't my favorite, but it's still alright.

Wow! An IPA made with golden frogs! Oh, wait a minute. This one 'benefits' Panamanian golden frogs (and the Maryland Zoo). My bad. Still, a decent brew. Mostly clear amber body with an average size off white head and decent lacing. Muted aroma using citrus as a focal point. Grainy malts noticeable early on but a brisk hop mix soon dominates the taste. Clean, crisp mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Good beer and a good cause.

Drinking outside in a plastic cup, draft from the brewery. Color is medium-deep amber, very dark for an IPA! Minimal head with tiny bubbles and a constand carbonation. Notes of caramel or butterscotch on the nose, bright and clean. Smooth, almost velvety feel with present carbonation. Taste is balanced, with a nice hoppy finish. Overall, a great beer.
