This is a nice example of what I love about English bitters, so drinkable they are and so flavorful. This beer which I enjoyed at the Market Porter in London was a light amber color. Nice lace patterns coated the glass. a fresh floral hop aroma wafts up from the glass. Smooth malt accented beer had a touch of hop presence. light bodied, drinkable, very drinkable. prime candidate for multiple pints at a single sitting.

Pours golden with red highlights and a thin tan head that gives way quickly but leaves a pure thick top to bottom covering of lace on the imperial pint.
Aroma of grass, hay, lemon and pale malt and a fruity mild hop note.
Flavor of light toffee, heavy orange and lemon hits and a well developed buttery hit. Absolutety delicious.
Mouthfeel is very sweet throughout with a slight bittering that leads to a pleasant balance but it is the mellow sweetness that dominates.
Drinkability is very nice from this local brewer. Brew quaffed the way it should be, local, drank 10 miles from the place of brewing.
