Extremely hazy gold with amber tinges. No head, good lacing. Smell is of herbal and earthy hops with a candy-like note. The taste is much of the same, very interesting, but somewhat let down by some yeast flavor that mucks things up, there may be a small touch of diacetyl on the back (although I am very sensitive to that). A little on the sweet side too. The mouthfeel is soft with a nice carbonation bite.

Overall, this is more reminiscent of a homebrew that a beer from an award winning brewery. The recipe formulation was good, but it was let down by what feels like a lack of proper conditioning. A tasty beer, but kind of dirty.
