While I'm always looking for attracting crossover, I have to say I was a little bit sceptical over this beer brewed by Multi-Brasses. I like(d?) their ATOKA and some of their other offerings but most of their beers are only TOLERABLE, at best.
So, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I drank the first drips of this one. Mouthfeel is OK and even if the aroma is VERY artificial ; you cannot think of other things but to a raspberries/chocolate flavored cake.
Beer is totally black (as every good stouts should be) but the foam is pinky. On the mouth, everything is OK, you get this chocolate taste (and acid rapsberry!) that give this beer a funky side! So, I would not say that this a great beer but as I said before, I was surprised and should say that this is one of their best try IMHO.

500 mL brown bottle
Dark brown beer with a fizzy head that disappears as fast as you pour it.
Aroma is of roasted coffee and chocolate with some fruit notes.
Powerful coffee flavour dominates, but is quickly overtaken by fusel alcohol. Some sweetness and a faint fruit flavour that I wouldn't be able to identify as raspberry. Some acidic notes and a lingering alcoholic bite. Mouthfeel is fairly full and carbonation is low.
Definitely on the harsh side, the acidity from the raspberries and the very noticeable alcohol flavour create a brew that's unbalanced and hard to finish. Unfortunately, this beer has very little going for it.
