I have to disagree with Rodenbach99... This beer is dangerously good. I even give this beer virtues... Made out of Easter Water (a ritual taking place on the dawn of Easter sunday), it possesses the Christ-like power to heal various health ailments, particularly skin sores and aches and pains (not really but hey, it's comforting).
Where to start... Just DO NOT start the afternoon with that drink... I did it on SuperBowl sunday and got drunk pretty fast. It goes down like a lager but it's Muhamed Ali in disguise... At 9% ABV, it's just a bit to strong to act, like I did, as a drunkard... Anyway, it's a smooth and dangerous poison...
A : Pours a golden liquid and the foam does not hold long enough.
S : a bit spicy and yeast are present. Kind of remind me of a Leffe or close to that.
T : That is where it get dangerous... No hint that this is a 9%. Mixed sweet and just a hint of the sourness of bread. Pretty good. Along a creamy cheese and some cucumber, it's divine.
M : small bubbles, no bitterness and a lasting sweet taste makes this one a very pleasent present in the mouth.
D : Do not abuse... You'll get drunk in no time.

An odd but not undrinkable Belg. Cloudy peachy with lots of lace and significant soapy head. Boozy cidery aroma. Drinks cidery with yeast as second and malts in he background. Mostly losing on the 100 proof vapours. This bottle was not infected.Apple juice in aftertaste.

Bottle: Poured a clear light copper color ale with a medium size foamy head with some nice lacing. Aroma of sweet Belgian type malt is dominating. Taste is dominated by some sweet malt with maybe a tad too much sweetness which gets to be a bit cloying. Body has an oily texture with medium carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not a very complex beer overall but better then I had expected.

Thanks to Harry for cracking this one.
Pours a cloudy orange, very thin white head, a couple spots, settles to a thin ring, slightly unappealing. Smell is sweet, vegetables, caramel/bread, wheat, some spice, kind of a sweet and sour finish, kind of strange. Taste is again sweet/sour up front, caramel, light floral, very malty and sweet, light spice and kind of lemony. Mouthfeel is light bodied but almost syrupy feeling, with low carbonation. Strange beer, thanks Harry!

The appearance is completely glossed over, so much so I can't locate my finger on the other side. No head, hardly even off a hard swirl. The colour is orange and bright. It's neat, but not much to look at.
The aroma is not Belgian, although it tries to be in the Belgian style. The yeast has some orange/lemon tang. The wheat is present. Esters are noticeable. None of those smell all that good though. Peppery and potent.
The mouthfeel is slightly sour. It causes a mini-pucker actually. The spice is detectable, compliments the flavours (actually makes up partly for there being a lack of). A little fruit zest. The wheat dried out the palate. The sourness keeps tickling the tongue. The alcohol seems absent for the most part. No taste lingers, no flavours stand out. Slightly boring.
Well anyhow, I don't have many redeeming qualities to write about. None of my peers seemed to like it. I didn't think it was all that bad. Wouldn't care to revisit but certainly wouldn't object to it. Thanks Harry!
