Brewed to celebrate Victoriaville's 150th anniversary.
Grandfather-in-law gave me my first bottle of this around easter. I've since then had about a six-pack. Cool idea with all the different labels showing early Victoriaville pics.
A- Looks clean. A very clear caramel-amber with a fiizzy white bit of head.
S- Smell isn't as clean but it still has some good. Mostly caramel malt. Almost milky like butterscotch but with less ''maillard reaction character''. Some grainy alcohol in the back. Not much in the hop department.
T- Hops finally make an appearance. Nice assertive bitterness that still manages to take a back seat to the malt. Finish is a little sour and a little cardboardy.
M- Medium body and carbonation. Finishes dry.
O-Okay beer. Some good flavours and some bad ones. I see no need to buy more myslef but hey, I'm sure the 150th festivities will be fun if this beer is what's served.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
