KBS sightings in CT!!!

    Places in Fairfield county got it today/are getting it tomorrow. I wouldn't expect to get a 4 pack or more in one place though, everywhere I talked to is 1 bottle or 2 bottle limit.

    I got 2 bottles as well. I wish I had more because I had it on tap last night... it was unfortunately better than I remembered... I wish I had a few 4 packs to hold on to.

    no, the distributor and salesperson did. I work at a store in new haven county. The rest of the state usually gets more than us though so.

    My spot only got a half a case and I split a 4 pk with my buddy. Somebody called while I was there bitching that they were not selling them as singles saying " it's not fair to not give everyone a chance", dude seriously, they can sell it however they want. If they sold all 3 to one person that's their decision to make. Do what every other BA does and calls around and gets their name on a list before it hits stores.....CHEERS

    The East Windsor spot (Joe's Fine Wines) has sold out. And when I went to South Windsor for it? The guy was like "here you go" and handed me a 6 pack of All Day IPA :astonished:

    Table and Vine in Springfield has also sold out for us northern CT folk

    KBS update for those in the Norwalk area:

    Total Wine: Behind the service desk; you have to ask for it. 1 bottle limit. It'll ring up as $99.10 (typical), so they have to correct for you at the register. It's really $5.79.

    World Of Bev: Don't bother. Unless you're on their special reserve "list", you won't be getting any. Sounded like they were allotting them by the 4pk.

    Ninety9 Bottles: Hadn't receive yet as of 12pm, so who knows....they might receive by the end of the day.

    BevMax: 2 bottle limit. Not sure on the price as I didn't make it that far due to the option below.

    Stew's: 4pk limit @ $24. In and out. Assuming it's still there, this is probably your best option for the area.

    I just got an email saying Manchester Wine & Liquors has it... 1 bottle limit... $4.99 a piece...

    Ancona's is selling it for $10 a bottle, I doubt I'll ever shop there again since they're pulling that, good for them for trying to squeeze another $100 of profit out of their case :rolling_eyes:

    yea up until now I've always found their prices to be in line with the rest of the stores in the area, including limited releases but there's so many stores in the area that handled this release the right way that I'd rather support from now on.
