UK are known for short-lived, questionably-named tap handles. Some see it as laughable in a play yard type mentality, others see it as a short road to losing credibility among all but the most juvenile of clientele.
Seems the US are just entering the game.

They're trying to keep a language from dying. It's pretty "bahl" as they say. What are you some kind of back-dated chuck?

I love this beer. Have had it at a few festivals.

AtG also makes one called Sofa King Wheat Arted that is fantastic.

Edit: BA seems to indicated that the name is Sofa King Wheat, but the bar where i had this listed it as above...

Instead of a beer I'll give you a brewery, one in my state just opened. Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery. No shit.

Not necessarily strange or odd, but I get a kick out of Left Hand's beer names. Subtle as it may be, there is an underlying sexual innuendo to many of their beers. Hell, the name of the brewery itself gives a nod to an old self-gratification trick...as does "The Stranger". They pull it off because it is not too in your face. I was having this conversation with my wife and another couple and we were talking about "Pole Star", which we all just assumed was in reference to a stripper, but the following day, my friend's wife came across the the term in a book she was reading and decided to do some research..."It is a Thoreau reference from Walden Pond about figuring out where you want to be in life and then staying on course to get there. Original meaning is a star located close to the poles to guide sailors and fugitive slaves. And even before that: being really great at getting yourself off .

Looks like our friend's at Left Hand are not only serious about their masturbation, but also their literature!
