@ De Garde, happy to have you in Tillamook. Can you share any info on your fermentation process? Are you doing open air fermentation, or rather transfering wort to barrels? Are you inoculating barrels with locally captured yeast and bacteria? Thanks for any info you can provide. Ps... Mulligan was great!

I believe they do 100% spontaneous fermentation.

Excited for the tasting room! Have a friend who may be up in Tillamook coincidentally when you guys open up. My fingers are crossed it coincides and he can snag me a bottle or two! Pumped for the bottles of Mulligan and Blueberry/Cranberry Bu Weiss :-)

Opening date and time for tasting room Grand-ish Opening and bottle release set:
    Saturday, September 21st, 12:00-8:00pm
    1909 Second Street
    Tillamook, OR 97141

We're releasing a good set of bottles (should be six options) and alot on tap as well to celebrate.
The event has also been submitted to the Events list on here.
Of note: we know many of you have families, but unfortunately because we do not directly serve food (there are several good options on the same block you can bring in), we cannot legally accommodate minors. Very sorry if that is problematic, but we wanted to save the unexpected disappointment by letting people know.
Hope to see some folks out here, but thanks for all of the support whether you make it or not!

For us unlucky saps that can't make it Saturday:

Are you guys going to be open on Sunday? What are going to be your 'days/hours of operation'?

That would be a tough one. Trustee is one thing, but having multiple memberships doesn't increase your ability to buy bottles of the regular releases.

I don't understand why you would need someone to be your mule. Can't you sign up for multiple memberships?

Are there any De Garde bottles floating around the shops in Portland? Kinda doubt it, but thought I'd ask. I'll have a quick road trip layover for lunch down there on Friday.

you might find a growler fill option at the Tin Bucket, if you are fortunate...they seem to have the bulk of the DG stuff in PDX before everybody else

Yeah, I checked their site. They've got one on tap right now, will bring a little growler with me in the hopes they've got something. Don't have a ton of time in Portland, just stopping for lunch with my wife, daughter and in-laws on the way to Eugene. So maybe one or two beer places at most.

I'm sure you've already been, but be sure to check out the Bier Stein and 16 Tons in Eugene. De Garde posted a few weeks ago that they were sending out limited bottles to several cities not named Portland, one of which was Eugene. Not sure how many made it there/if any are still around, but Bier Stein and 16 Tons are worth a stop regardless.

Last time I was at Belmont station they had bottles of Rougie, Soleil D'or, and Cornelio Nunez. I'd call. They often seem to have them on shelves behind the counter. Around $10 a bottle.
