Too soon. I'm only just now beginning to enjoy the experience of cursing winter.

    Double trouble.

Although not what I think of as a spring beer--KBS!!!!--it's always winter somewhere.

    Another nod for Aprihop.

spring is the dud season of beer releases....nothing really to look out for. Ruthless rye is already out which is good but not something I go seeking for. Nugget Nectar has been a disappointment the past couple years, I wont it buy it anymore at $11.99 a 6/pack.

Call me crazy, but I could not get into Durty. The brown ale + hoppiness did not mesh for me. But Ruthless Rye is as good as ever.

I'm drinking New Belgium's "Spring Blonde" right now, because my choice was that, or BMC. I think this beer is actually something I would look for in a Spring seasonal (especially in Texas), because: I can drink several of these without palate fatigue, it has some flavor, and it's not drunk-inducing.

There are plenty of releases I look forward to in Spring (mostly later in the season; big beers like Stone IRS) but as far as general "seasonal releases" go, I like this one. It reminds me of a Kolsch more than anything, and sometimes that's honestly what I want. Not something I've gotta rush to the store to get before it's gone, but something to pick up at the store and casually enjoy.

    Cheers!

Im looking for all and any good suggestions on Spring Beers...Im listening to everyones opinion because I am very open minded when it comes to beer. The winter and fall stuff is now stuffed away in the fridge and its time to stock up on the spring seasonal stuff.! If anyone has any good suggestions I would love to hear!! Thanks

Troegs Cultivator- an 'American' take on the Heller Bock style (meaning it is a bit hoppier than traditional). It's well-made, delicious and fresh as a daisy right now. It reminds me of the old Sierra Nevada Glissade, but better.
