IBU in pliny = maximum (add more and the liquid remains unchanged due to limit of alpha acid solubility). taste and aroma self-evident if you get it fresh.

you might prefer other IPAs hop profiles, but if you think pliny is "less hoppy" than other beers, you don't know what you're talking about.

PtE is still my favorite. Even over Alpine IPAs. Have yet to try Kern River Citra though...

From what I've had available here on the east coast, Stone's Enjoy By has been the best, followed closely by Lagunitas Sucks. Really wish I could get my hands on PtE!

This is a very difficult choice for me. I personally enjoy Blind Pig, Alpine Duet, Beachwood Melrose and recently enjoyed Citra Showers a lot!

Stone Enjoy By is probably the best I've personally had. Super delicious. Really want to get out to the left coast and try some supremely fresh stuff eventually.

Thank God I wasn't the first person to mention this beer. So underrated. By far my favorite West Coast IPA. IMO it's better than Pliny!!
