Delicious, yes. But for all purposes, a stout (not looking to start a debate) so not what the OP wants

Coffee Ale will probably be tough to find as we released it around February last year.

Cigar city makes a Cubans espresso brown ale that is pretty tasty.

Since all the good ones have been mentioned, I'll tell you one to stay away from: Victory Village Coffee. Barely any coffee flavor or aroma.

    I second this suggestion.
I love Boulevard but I thought this one was pretty gross.

Do we really consider Naughty Sauce and/or Bean Bump to be stouts?

Almost all the stores near me are out ouf it since it's not in season anymore. But there is a little deli by my house that still has a few. It is really an unusually great beer.

OP I will reiterate the Coffee Bender and Local Option Morning Wood suggestions, but you would probably have to trade/travel/know somebody to get those in NY.

Really? I have not heard that sentiment before. I thought it was a nice, rich, not overwhelming bitter coffee flavor. Being more of an amber ale as opposed to a stout was surprisingly nice.

Funny cause I was not real impressed with Morning Wood.

We don't have any plans right now to brew Coffee Ale again. The Smokestack Series is pretty fluid though so it's tough to call a beer "dead", you know?

Coops Gran Sport Porter has great coffee notes and isn't an extremely heavy porter.

Lots of porters and browns mentioned. I'd like to see more coffee pale ales listed. I'd try anything that comes close to what Stone pulled off with Dayman. I'm surprised more breweries haven't given that a shot. The coffee notes play amazingly well with the citrussy hops. Anyone know of anyone out there that pulled this style off well?

It was unfortunately a one time brew, but I enjoyed Stone's (Collaboration) Dayman coffee IPA.

I thought the Mikkeller Koppi (Coffee IPA) was pretty good.

Might as well be a stout. Just sayin'.
