Doesn't look like anyone mentioned "Yin" yet. I stockpile this when I can find it. Just hits me right.

I've never had a bad Evil Twin Beer. I do notice that different parts of the country get different Evil Twin beers. It seems to be a crap shoot of what you get where. I've found trying to plan out Evil Twin purchases to be difficult to pin down. Many are also only brewed once.

I would personally just see what is in a store, check out the rating and buy it if it tickles your fancy.

Don't sleep on Lil B. One of the best porters ever.

Any stout/porter you can find. Seriously, I have not had a bad beer by them. Top 5 favorite breweries.

Definitely not your go-to but love mixing it up from time to time. Molotav Cocktail is a monster Imperial that I love to get here and there but comes in around 13%-- unique. Yang also another big imperial. Most of these I buy per bottle and run around $4. The Biscotti Break in bombers is much more but not unlike some other specialty big beers in cost.

Sure they are $$$$ but most places break-em up and a single of anything is always worth a try.

FYI. The Evil Twin founder/creator, Jeppe Bjergso is the twin brother of the Mikkeller founder/creator, Mikkel Bjergso. Apparently they can't stand each other.

I would recommend going with any of their stout/porters.... they are all great. That is the one style that he kills it on in my opinion. The bombers are pricey but if you can find some of the 4-packs of Lil B or other stouts/porters, they aren't too bad.

I remember that article, it made me really dislike both brewers. They don't even have breweries. I don't understand the value they bring to the beer. Recipe formulation? Seems like marketing bullshit to me.
Couple that with the prices on their beer, I happily avoid Evil Twin and Mikkeller these days.

I like Yang. My wife loves Joey Pepper (it's pretty good). Ryan and Beasater Bunny is also nice.

Not sure where you'll be in AR, but if you're in Little Rock, try Colonial Wine and Spirits, and Sullivant's. I've found Evil Twin at both places when I've gone home to AR.

Add one more vote for Lil' B. Terrific flavor profile.

But yes, their beers are pricey.

Even More Jesus is one of the best non-BA stouts out there in my opinion. Definitely grab one if you see it.
