Second only to Rye of the Tiger, in my opinion.

 

Another great beer. Chillwave and BA Blackout have eluded me to date, but I've enjoyed everything I've had from GL.

 

I've only the had the pleasure of the Panther set and One Claw, but all three were phenomenal.

BA Blackout is like a slightly toned-down version of BBAPt5, and Chillwave is just deliciously dank and fruity. It's hard to believe it's only one hop creating all that flavor. If you're ever interested in expanding your GL oeuvre, let me know and I'll throw a little something-something together for ya .

 

When BA Blackout hits again, I'm down for sure. Westbrook or some of the Asheville brews (Wicked Weed perhaps?) will have something good to send your way i'm sure.

 

So full disclosure, I have yet to send a box to @sandman3479 for his 0-13 against win, but it just so happens that the one guy who is actually planning to be in WI in the next week is the one who wins it... so we talked it out and I am going to hold off until some late summer NG Thumbprints are released to make sure he gets a great WI box. With that being said, the rest of you aside from maybe @100Resolutions are probably not going to have the opportunity to experience the greatness that is New Glarus' eceptional Thumbprint lineup. I've had Heady and I've had Pliny and I've had Sue and King Sue... and I can undoubtedly say that Scream IIPA AT LEAST stacks up to these brews very favorably if not beats them out. My experience with Berliner Weiss is not so vast but this NG one is pretty damn tasty as well. With that, and this abundance of cardboard and shipping supplies starting to stack up in my basement I would like to create a new mini BIF.

Over the course of the last 7 days the mighty bat of Reds' catcher Devin Mesoraco has amassed more home runs than anyone else in baseball (5). Over the course of the next 7 days, including today, I will send a box of NG Thumbprints or Fruits if you prefer - or a combination of the 2 to the team with the player who has the most home runs IF that player beats the Mighty Mesoraco. If nobody beats 5, the box goes to @Bjohnston. I will do the Last 7 check on July the 3rd and ship out shortly there after. In the event of a tie I will think of the number 5 and whoever tied that can guess the number I am thinking of will win the box.

Chillwave is out of date (I believe) but something tells me the next box from PA to SC will have a BA Blackout in it.

Just as I am raving about the glory of NG Berliner Weiss, liquor stores across the state are pulling it from the shelves because it's liable to explode at any given moment.

Just had my first, and only one, yesterday. I'd risk taking broken glass shards to the face for it. It was a very well done beer.

 

I just had a NG Berliner a week or so ago. It was fizzy, but the only explosion was in my pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
