NG Berliner Weiss pulled from shelves

    I just called 2 liquor stores in fox cities area in search of some Berliner Weiss. They both told me that NG had to pull it because of some kind of issue. Anyone have anymore info on this?

    Infected maybe? Sours are infected on purpose obviously, but must have been something else..

    i know this has been reported by one or two people here but do we have confirmation from NG that they are pulling the beer from shelves because of bottle explosions?

    or did i fall for the old switchereedoo

    I am on the phone with my shop right now and getting the same info. Pulled. Sales person told them it's because they explode. That's exactly what he told me... it made me laugh and tear up a bit at the same time. There is a silver lining to this story - they have 7 bottles that weren't picked up yet.

    Ahhhhhhh they just got it here and now it's gone...oddly Peruvian morning is back on the shelf, I'm so confused

    Just went to a shop and the lady said " You don't want these! They have been recalled, our sales person just hasn't picked them up yet." I told her I'd take my chances and grabbed some! Stock up while you can everyone!

    the same shop selling me these now sold me PM after it was recalled as well. where did you see PM back available?

    Damn, well if they think it'll happen to enough of them to pull them, I'm gonna polish off the rest of mine quickly. I had a bottle explode in my cellar last year and don't need to deal with that crap again.

    I bought a case a couple weeks ago from HWY 50 Woodmans. Tastes great (opened last year and this year last night for a tasting actually) . . but VERY foamy. Needs a very controlled pour and drinking out of a bottle was not pleasurable. Super foamy. I can see why they may have had issues.

    so I just bought a four pak of PM tonite from County Market cause I was wishing that they were not affected. Got home and opened one, smelt like hot garbage................ Stupid me.
