I recently had two of those- very solid beers indeed. The King Titus is definitely fantastic- hoppy, but not overly so, with a smooth velvety texture. I also enjoyed the Oak Aged Backburner, but wish it was a touch drier. I definitely agree that it comes across more English style, but also love what the wood contributes overall.

    Speaking of Baltic Porters-
Smuttynose Baltic Porter is also amazing, and is probably the best beer they make (take that part with a grain of salt, though- I haven't really had all of their stuff ). The beer is definitely killer, fwiw.

Not necessarily unknown (but maybe fairly new based on the small number of ratings/reviews)... Thirsty Dog- Bourbon Barrel Aged Cerberus was fantastic on draft. Fat Head's- Angels for ALS IPA on tap in Cleveland... very unique hop blend (stood up nicely next to some fresh Head Hunter; also for a good cause). Great topic.

I would recommend Mission Brewery's Dark Seas Imperial Stout. Also, Heavy Seas' Red Sky at Night (Rated as "good" on this website, but I think its a pretty solid saison)

Berkley Brewing Co.- Rey Whiskey Barrel Aged Triple w/ Honey. Think Allagash Curiex, but with Rye Whiskey characteristics and the sweetness of honey. Phenomenal stuff.

Outside of the Lawson's, I haven't had it, I agree with this 100%. I love Fort Point, and Another One is as good as Lunch, but not hyped to no end.

    Project dank from la cumbre
    red swingline from trinity brewing
    tweak from avery
breakwater pale ale from dry dock
although the mexican chocolate stout is great, naja from copper kettle is a damned fine red.

Lakewood Temptress (and the Bourbon Barrel Variant) is a delicious milk stout and among the best beers Texas has to offer.
Already mentioned, but Community Mosaic is another great Texas beer.
Lone Pint's Pioneer Yellow Rose IPA is the best IPA in Texas as far as I'm concerned and I don't see it mentioned very often.
Green Man Snozzberry is another beer that is under the radar, but as a raspberry/blackberry sour, was damn near unparalleled.
