“I guess the tulip is being called the Tall Pilsner glass?”

That is my understanding. A discrepancy I have noted is that in the Tasting 4-pack it lists: “Tall Pilsner- 11-2/3-oz.”

Spieglelau also sells Spiegelau Beer Classics Stemmed Pilsner Value Pack, 15-1/2-Ounce. So they make two versions of Pilsner glasses: 11-2/3-oz and 15-1/2 oz?

    Cheers!

P.S. The net result is the same for me: too small.

Is that why you have a Kwak glass in your avatar? Are you pointing out how silly and gimmicky "special" glasses are?

My money is on the release of a limited-edition barrel-aged beer glass.

I like the one review that said the glass cut down on the bitterness of the IPA they were drinking out of it.

    Those glasses are freaking magic!

With mine, I morph into a mad scientist about to take a sip of the forbidden elixir, straight from the beaker, smoking and gurgling, waiting to see if I'm transformed into a knowing vessel assessor. I have a little Anderson Valley glass that I love. I often fill it with V-8, OJ, but mostly grainy potions. It's cool but looks kinda fragile.

Don't see them any more than fun, and a fact that I can pour my beer and see it, which means it's a plus.

I decided to try my homebrewed English Bitter Ale because of the post by @augiecarton of: "my guess is it's a great glass for small, aromatic ales."

My Bitter Ale tasted GREAT out of the can shaped glass. Augie, you are a genius!!

A picture of my Bitter Ale below.

    Cheers!

I like my Schlafly can-shaped glass because it easily holds a pint can of Tallgrass or other 16oz cans.

I have one of these from a local beer festival I went to. Doesn't add anything to the drinking exeperience. Only reason I use it because it can hold an entire 16oz can.

Nope totally different. There is a history with coachmen's glasses wherein the glass shape was slung to a coach. You see, coachmen were not allowed to...

Aw, hell. Nevermind. Touche sir, touche.
