I'd like to hear some thoughts on these: http://oakbrew.com/node/1222.
I received one at a tasting event and I've been served one at a bar before. I personally like them, the lip helps concentrate the aroma much better than a standard shaker pint. I wonder if they could start replacing them. Thoughts?

Funny you mention that. I just got a freebie from Otter Creek in this style. First I've seen before. Yet to try it out though.

Just had a radler in one today. I for one am a fan of glassware style proliferation.

New Mexico breweries have been offering this for at least two years. I'm kinda surprised that folks in WA and MA are just discovering them. I like them, but I've always been curious how the rigid, proper glassware set perceived them. Let's see what folks have to say.

A couple TX breweries have had them a while. They're a little better than a shaker pint aroma wise and thinner so I like how they feel while taking a sip better (that sounded nerdy) but I think they're selling point is that they look cool. I have a few and I like them.

I have two, one is a Columbus Brewing Company logo, and the other is an Ohio Craft Brewers Association/Weasel Boy logo. I love both.

Ridic. But I hate shaker pints and will compromise.

I just got one at a festival last weekend and while I like it more than a shaker pint, it will definitely not be my go-to glass. Tulips, snifters, and the faithful Teku will remain near and dear to my heart.

A little gimmicky, but cool once in a while to enjoy a canned beer out of.

I have the Founders All Day one.

I just drank 6 Anchor California Lagers out of my buddy's can shaped glass. It worked quite well for me.

These have been around in MA for a long time too. I know a bar that has been serving Baxter in them for years

I am not all that convinced there is much benefit to be had from the glassware itself but I have a couple and do enjoy using them. As much as I love proper glassware, sometimes I just don't care. I really do not care for pint glasses, the can glasses are my one of my go-to vessels when all I want to do is have a beer and not think about it.

I'll stick to my jelly jar, thank you very much.

Dollar tree sells Coke can shaped glasses. Need to get some as the wind (gusts up to 20 knots) knocked my last tulip glass off the patio table the other night. Cleaning it up was no fun at all. At least it was empty at the time.

I certainly agree that they're not as ideal as snifters/tulips/tekus, but sometimes I like to have something without a stem, i.e. BBQ's. But for a generic beer glass, they make the beer more enjoyable than a shaker. The shape is a bit cheesy of course, but tekus look ugly to me too. It's all about the end result!

You can make similar sized and shaped glasses out of empty bombers. You just need some string, lighter fluid, a match and a bucket of ice water. Once it's done you've got a cool glass with the logos of some of your favorite breweries.

Good for holding pens and tip jars. Not great for drinking side from being able to balance them on the bottom lip which I love doing after a few
