You mean besides being made in a lab? At least beer is all natural.

There's a very, very long list of things that are "made in a lab" that aren't bad for you. Not only aren't they bad for you but many can cure ailments. Beer is worse for your health than tons of things made in labs. Beer being all natural doesn't make it good. Wild mushrooms are all natural too, yet there are quite a few varieties that can kill you.

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

I try not to drink before midday. However, if I did, I'd imagine a Lambic being quite nice.

What I really want to do is drink beer, and starting early certainly doesn't get in the way of that. Score! I'm in good shape after all.

Well, I work night shift, so I'll drink anything in the morning :grinning: I think I may crack open a bottle of Viridis Lupulus after I get home from tonight's shift. Or delve into some chocobock/stout or other.

I don't think I have ever had a beer in the morning and I don't think I ever would unless it was brunch. In that case, it would be Brunch Geek Weasel Stout of course.

It was definitely a Chocobock and festbier kind of morning. Had some nice (and rather fresh, just bottled a few days ago) SA Chocolate Bock followed by a few local marzens.

I've found a hefeweizen on a (Saturday) morning to be quite refreshing--enough to make me wish I lived in Germany where drinking beer in the morning is more accepted!

A morning beer is almost certainly better for you then a couple of Rockstars/Monsters.

I've had early morning(3am) beers on weekends when I haven't gone to sleep yet. Other than that I don't drink in the morning because it makes me tired and lazy for the rest of the day.

Also, if I came to work and someone could smell the beer Id probably be fired.

I will sometimes have a beer around midnight or 1am if I'm having trouble falling asleep. After tossing and turning in bed for an hour or more, there's nothing better than sipping a Belgian quad or strong dark ale or similar beer (NOT an IPA--tried that once and it's not the same) and reading in an easy chair for an hour or so. After that I have no trouble falling asleep in a matter of minutes. And it's not that I'm falling asleep while reading--I'm actually quite alert for that hour, but once my head hits the pillow again, I'm asleep very quickly.

I will gladly consume beer with a nice Sunday brunch (even before noon). Usually stouts work best for me, but I won't discriminate. There are a few good beer-centric restaurants around me that do some beer-themed brunches.

    Many beers compliment breakfast-style foods.

I've had beer about an hour or two before a jog and have felt almost energized while doing so, probably because a serving has about 20+ grams of carbs if we're talking craft.

I'm gonna crack a Bourbon County Coffee at 5 am Friday before my 6 am flight. Who cares!

I never start drinking until I'm done with my responsibilities for the day, and wouldn't dream of having a beer or two then going off to the gym for a heavy squat workout or whatever. Totally ridiculous.

Tailgating is when I have done most of my morning drinking. Recently went to the Giants home opener and had a bourbon county BW poured right into the coffee cup I'd just emptied. Figure if it's only gonna be one or two (and then sober up to drive home after) they might as well be good ones!

I get off of work around 8 am. Get home and would love nothing more than a beer after a hard 8 hours of manual labor. However, the girlfriend is usually just waking up around this time, and disagrees with my morning beer, citing the fact that it is only 8 am. So for me, its rare, but my morning/ just got off of work beer tends to be a lower abv, non hop bomb. Probably CCB Maduro more often than anything else.
