Something Awesome about Yellow Rose

Just hurry up and come to DFW or I'll hate you forever.

 

Even if it sat for a couple of weeks, it's still way fresher than most our imported IPAs. I'm really looking forward to trying some Yellow Rose if it makes way to Austin. Kegs are too far and few in town.

 

Someone send me a bottle to NY otherwise I won't be able to weigh in until November.

I did get a bottle when I was last in town, but I don't intend to open it - from the very first run and autographed and stuff.

 

I had a bottle last night. Was amazing as always, and I think I actually preferred the bottle, for whatever that's worth.

 

I thought it was great too. Haven't had on tap, so completely objective opinion. Honestly though, I think the Mosaic hop is just a gift from God. For the same price you can get a 6 pack of Community Mosaic, which has a similar taste and characteristics for obvious reasons.

Unfortunately, I can't locate a date on their bottles either. But all the ones I've had have been great.

Bummer. Haven't seen it on top lately either. I guess I'll go to whole foods and pick up a growler of Sculpin. Lone Pint, Hurry Up!!!

 

Someone brought a growler of this stuff to a tasting here in London last year. I've been bigging it up to anyone who'll listen ever since.

 

I'll gladly trade you some YR bottles for some JK. And whatever else to even it out. Just trying to help a fella out....

 

Nice, that's more Europeans that love this Lone Pint beer. LP really needs to get its shit together and find PE investors to expand off the fame of their beers. Best brewery in Houston hands down.

Even a week from bottling to release is longer than it should be IMO. Hopefully future bottle releases are fresher.

 

Just bought one, don't care.
