What To Drink While in Seattle?

Fremont Brewery has a nice taproom, as does Elysian Brewing in Capital Hill.

Elysian Manic IPA series are top notch.

This thread should help you out. Definitely seek out Boneyard while you're here, even though they're a OR brewery, their IPAs are among the best.

 

Fremont, and Elysian are fantastic. There are als plenty of decent breweries that are just holes in the wall in Seattle and the surrounding area. If you're on the east side check out Black Raven. To the north in Everett, Scuttlebutt and Diamond Knot are good, plus they have good food too.

 

There's an Elysian in Tangletown which is in the same part of the city as Fremont.

Definitely hit up Reubens in Ballard, too.

 

Is it just my impression though or doesn't the Elysian in Tangletown always have much more limited offerings than Capital Hill?

 

Must be you, I always find good stuff there. The sours last at Tangletown longer.

 

Plus, it's low on the hipster factor.

 

This reminded me to be sure to add you to the next iteration of the "Visiting Seattle" thread to be out in the winter.

 

How about what not to drink. Love visiting seattle, so much good beer!

 

Don't drink anything not brewed in WA. I'm semi-serious about this. Depending on the time frame one has for their visit, I'd suggest focusing heavily on WA beers, with a few ID/OR/AK mixed in if encountered.
