The culprit then, johndunbar, was banned it seems but was this another pseudonym of this clown? My amateur sleuthing in that thread thought it might be the case. They both used Nebraska states as I recall. Just curious. Thanks.

I want to thank @yoitsarch for starting this thread and @Todd and @F2brewers for their detective work on the multiple accounts.

Unfortunately, after seeing the aliases, I can confirm I have a fake Mornin' Delight from this scumbag. I believe it was under the JohnDunbar account. Though I also dealt with Edwardfortyhands as well and can confirm he was a d-bag. My trade was IP and he literally traded and took off, which now I know why. Having never seen a MD before and it being early in my trading days, I didn't really know what the wax should look like.

Luckily I'm not out anything major, so it's not the money or beer that has me pissed. And I know MD isn't easy to come by, so I'm more disappointed than anything. And I'm REALLY glad I didn't trade it to someone else, since I did have a few offers for it. At least it'll take one more fake off the market.

So if that jacksmack is reading this thread and laughing, then all I'll say is I hope karma comes back around for you one day.

For the guys out an Assassin (or anything else), shoot me a BM. I can help you with those.

Wowza. Its not hard to fathom people actually doing something this low. Heck, people make counterfeit money, counterfeit concert tickets, and now counterfeit beer. On top of that, the "alias" said he got them from another trader. This clown deserves a beat down ( Italian style).

Does TG have any recourse? I would think that they can take some sort of legal action in that their product is being tampered with and then passed along...or perhaps some sort of counterfeiting or copyright thing?
