@-N8 very nice pics indeed. I had seen one of your pics when la cumbre posted it one of them on Facebook.

Hopefully canteen can win and make it all NM Championship. Also I hope more people take notice of NM IPA game as we have some of the best in the country.

Just looking at the NM IPA challenge alone, the fact that La Cumbre comes in 5th place year after year (for either elevated or project dank) says a lot... a whole LOT. Underrated is an understatement imho.

Fyi, NIPAC final four is set.. Two NM breweries advance.. LC Project Dank is out.

It's Canteen Exodus IPA vs. 10 Barrell Brewing Boise, against Bosque Brewing Scale Tipper vs. Melvin Brewing Morris (the brewery that knocked out Project Dank).

Now if only the Lobos could be on the same level as our IPA's haha. When your back in NM let's grab a beer.

That's big time for the state and these breweries. Exodus doesnt show it in ratings here (most beers don't). I don't know what it is. People like to keep things to themselves here in the state? We seem to live in some sort of bubble. Nothing really wrong with that I suppose. Well now, one of these guys will have some new fans flocking their way.

I wonder how ratings/perceived rankings will go with the winning beer. I've had both and from past notes, found Scale Tipper a bit more "WOW" worthy on the taste buds. Both seemed to be of the same elevated IPA lineage.. At least I found some comparisons between them all.

It's going to be harder & harder to get tickets to the NM IPA challenge I'm afraid. I believe all of these beers have won at one time or other

I've actually never been. Now if I go with all these award winners, who's the bandwagon chaser now? lol. I hear they are never really sold out until the day before or so. A couple hundred sold, with pre sell at many locations. I do hope they plan for something bigger this year. It may be that tipping point where "fans" REALLY jump on it. I think it's normally been three locations. One north near SF area, one south, and one in ABQ. There may be enough buzz for two-three samplings in ABQ alone

Pardon the ignorance, are both of these two year round beers? Should be in ABQ in the next few weeks and may have to venture beyond La Cumbre and Marble if so

Canteen is down the street from La cumbre, but Exodus is not a year round beer. Though you might get lucky as they will probably have some soon. Scale tipper I am not to sure of, but I don't think it's year round either. Bosque does a lot of IPAs so it doesn't hurt to give them a try.

As Miggs pointed out, Canteen is very close to La Cumbre so absolutely worth checking out. Exodus comes and goes, so no guarantees it will be on.

Bosque is absolutely worth going to. Outstanding brewery that just gets better and better. As Miggs said, even if Scale Tipper isn't on, some other delicious IPA will be. John Bullard pumps them out and they're good.
