This is an awesome beer by the way, my first time having the base.

 

Great beer. Haven't had the BA version personally, but I hear from others this one is just as good if not better.

 

Jackie O's imperial stouts have this creamy, almost marshmallowy texture and flavor. This and oil of aphrodite are both great.

 

I may have said this earlier -- but to my sender, sorry I haven't updated wants in like forever -- I really have more "style" wants than anything else because there's just so much out there that I like to defer what I "should" want to my sender -- but sometime in the next week or so I'll try to make it a point to go through and add things to my wants.

This beer is absolutely killer... definitely top-3 for me in non-BA RISs alongside Darkness and Plead the 5th. Huge notes of chocolate alongside subtle dark fruits, creamy cocoa. Finish is bitter mild-roast coffee. Top notch.

Fifty Fifty's Eclipse started hitting stores here. I picked up the Evan Williams 23 and High West for myself.



Not sure about distro outside of California, but if my target likes this post ill go back and pick up a bottle for their box. Offer open to those that I have open trades with as well.

Did you hear about all the crazyness with Masterpiece? I heard they really dropped the ball, 400 bottles and no limit, what's up with that?

 

Yeah that was crazy. Apparently some people bought 30 bottles and one dude bought 70+ bottles. Good thing I wasn't there, I would have been mad as hell. Kind of surprising that some of these breweries are so out of touch with the market, can't just assume people will do the right thing.

 

I guess that guy is in a muling group...... Assuming similar price to Eclipse, that's over $2k worth of ONE beer....

Yeah, and its even crazier because this bottle was $49.99 haha. I'm guessing credit + the ability to pay quickly via paypal makes that sort of thing easy nowadays.

 

Toppling Goliath addressed this issue on their facebook yesterday. Sounds like this guy got himself banned not only from BA but now from TG.

I saw that but didn't investigate further. Just wow. Glad I didn't trade for any TG but that really sucks for anyone who did.
