Other Half Brewing

There are lot of good restaurants and bars within walking distance of Other Half. You should def check it out soon.

Awesome how the neighborhood has gotten even better for beer in the time you've been there! Between Owl Farm, Mission Dolores, Bierkraft, St. Gambrinus, Other Half, and Threes (in my top tier, anyway), you can't throw a stone without knocking over someone's delicious beer.

 

Agreed. As PS resident of ~4 years, the 'hood has seriously improved its beer game recently.

 

And Pickle Shack! And the best kept beer secret in all of NYC, the Food Coop, which still has had BCBCS as of Tuesday when I was last there, for $5/bottle with no limit! (I won't say how much the Vanilla Rye was)

 

Would love to say hey to anyone who is going to be at OH this Sunday. Look for the 6'6" dude with the beard and glasses - that's me. @Kanger can point me out.

I'm going to be over at the brewery probably by 1 or so tomorrow. Grab a few beers and one of those sandwiches.

 

Had two of their beers yesterday; two different places. IPA was decent but the First Gold seemed a little muddled.

 

Ug so the sickness has caught up with me. Could barely get out of bed. Blah. Have fun today!

Hopefully I'll be healthier for the Tuesday release of the Evil Twin collab.

 

Does anybody know if OHB will be altering their hours this week like they did for Thanksgiving week? It would be awesome if they were open Tuesday or even early Christmas Eve.

 

They'll be open Xmas eve. Not sure of hours but they will be open.

 

They posted a link on Facebook to a cool video (https://player.vimeo.com/video/115073997) and in it they say they will probably can 4 or 5 different beers in 2015. Great news!
