Anyone planning on going this year? March 30th at Santa Margarita Ranch just outside Paso Robles.
Besides port and whiskey, barrel aged beers from Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Lost Abbey, Ballast Point, Russian River, Jolly Pumpkin from Michigan, Crooked Stave, and more will be pouring.

This year's event is sponsored by Mutineer Magazine, as was last year. Last year was the first year and it was great, this year will be even better.

That looks pretty awesome. Too bad it's on a Friday and a 3+ hour drive from me.

Someone on Facebook just asked what Russian River would be bringing to From The Barrel and Natalie replied with "It’s looking like Temptation and/or Beatification at the moment! That is subject to change, but whatever we send will be good, I promise!"

I thought Russian River wasn't going to Keg any Beatification. Will they be doing bottles?

Wouldn't surprise me. Russian River loves to bring magnums and Jeraboams to tastings. And they snuck a bunch of the 3L Beat B3s to the Beer Week event at Toronado...

Just announced that there will be shuttles going to and from the brewery in Paso and to and from Pappy McGregor's in SLO. The $30 cab ride each way from SLO last year sucked.

Anyone else planning on going? I'll be at the Mutineer Magazine table, will be bringing some barrel aged craft beer from my cellar to share. Not bringing a lot (10 bombers/750ml bottles, 2 12oz bottles), but some good stuff. Come say hi.
