Suggestions for my 1000th beer.

I made the same suggestion in a similar thread:

I second this idea.

 

If I said - "nah don't drink that crap - go get a KBBS and drink that instead" - what would you do?

But then it wouldn't be his 1,000th unique beer. This does imply an assumption that he's talking 1,000th unique, and not 1,000 overall...

I see you are at beer 969. I suggest you put in for a week off and take the short trip up to Vermont. Hit the best brewpubs up there drinking any and all beer you can get your hands on marked Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, or Lawson's. You will shortly get to your 1,000th and it really won't matter what beer it is if it's from one of those three. Cheers and congrats!

Congrats on 1000 brews! While I am no where near that mark, I can say that I've had the particular beer you would like to try, and would actually suggest a different beer if you are wanting to make the 1000th beer extra special. Granted I had the 2014 release and it was good, but not a "knock your socks off" kind of brew.
