There was a dude selling his two bottles for forty bucks each because he didn't like it on draft...he did walk out with a growler of serpant stout.

    It's like everyone is surprised.

Had one of my bottles over the weekend and it was nicely carbed. I wish Lost Abbey wouldn't do themselves a disservice by under carbing their draft brews.

I agree. While I loved the draft sample, appropriate carbonation would have made me feel better about the four bottles in my possession. Glad to hear it is carb'd though.

A shame to see good beer being undervalued...

It was. I think we both got something great out of the deal. I know he traded a few bottles before I traded with him too.

I unfortunately traded a bottle ahead of release for a pre Huna+Beatification.. I won't be trading the others... Talked with some guy at O'Briens who said the exact same thing. Don't cave in to the East Coasters.

Bottles are always better than draft. Also you just can't serve a 3+ volume beer on draft with a regular draft setup.

But brahj, that Huna cost $50 + gas + my time drinking beers at Hoona day + the cost of having to cope with living in Florida.

This is so true. I'd rather get kicked in the nuts everyday than live in Florida

The extra $2 is for the gas they use to drive there.

Gold medal at GABF, finally some notoriety. I've always said this beer was equal to or better than the fou/WA/Chez of the world.

Very much agreed on this. V015 hasn't even reached is full potential.

Hats off! Agred, V15 was phenomenal. Haven't had it in a few months. I'm sure it's only getting better and better.

V15 is delicious and I'm glad I didn't trade any of mine away.
