I think this was already addressed, but I can't seem to find it in the 30+ pages of DLD posts.

Has anyone heard of what the cost per bottle is this year? Staying at $15 or increasing like everything else?

    $20 a bottle.

Been digging through the cellar spreadsheet trying to come up with some bottles to bring to share in line. Problem is most of my "rarest" (read, not very walezbro) bottles are things that were most readily accessible around here.

Got a couple O'Dell sours though for sure. Not sure what else.

No official announcement from Floyds yet on anything. So I'd plan for it to be the same, but you never know for sure.

2 years ago, people were as confident of the festival being held in the park across calumet as they seem to be about $20 bottles this year. It's $15/bottle until FFF says otherwise.

Honestly 15 or 2 makes no difference, I will by my full share and then some if given the opportunity. I guess just like the rest of the event, it will be a mystery until the day of. Thanks everyone.

interesting because I have done this for 5 years in a row, done it at Darkness Day that long as well. Have no issue who runs it. I will be at the compound if it makes it easier to find someone one. I don't mind running it again as well. Just let me know.

I saw that. Running Waters is not FFF. Anything can change.

So we shouldn't trust the group that Three Floyds pays to run their event. Got it.

Either way, anyone reading this with half a brain should PLAN on $20 and if they pleasantly surprise us and throw the vendor under the bus, great.

Some people fly in, most stay in hotels, everyone brings big money in
Bottles to share. I don't think this warrants the huge argument. Be grateful u got tickets and bring the extra $20 just in case. Reality is they could charge way more than they do for the tickets and bottles of dark lord and everything would still sell out. They have created an event worth marking your calendars for.

It always amazes me how many people feel a sense of ownership over Dark Lord Day.

People get way more worked up over sports, which are full of millionaire athletes who don't care about them. They're also usually sitting at home watching the event too, where they've invested $0 into the game but still scream and yell like it's the end of the world.

At least with this event, there are many people who have spend quite a bit of money for travel and hotel as well as the purchase of tickets, beer, the whole works. I imagine you should be a bit invested into that happenings of the event with that much effort.

DLD is a sport. Ever heard of heady topper beer pong?
