As far as stores I'd check Imbibe, GM, Sullys..there are a few others.

If you have time to check out other places check out Lengthwise Pub

@wuntrikpony Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to trade. I picked up bottles this afternoon.

I'm pretty impressed with this one. Coffee-forward, but the other elements don't get lost. Regular Midnight Lightning is a fairly average stout, but the variants (BA, Vanilla Bean BA, and now Mocha) really elevate it.

Im an IPA guy, as my name infers, but I got into stouts after tasting the TS Cake. I've only tried about 5 or 6 stouts. I really like Midnight Lightening. In the realm of stouts is it considered fairly standard or average? Cake was my favorite

In my opinion, Midnight Lightning is average or a little above-average for an imperial stout. It's solid, but lacks some of the depth of the best examples, and at least when fresh, the alcohol is a little hot. It makes a great base for barrel-aging and other treatments though.

Piece of Cake is my favorite Tioga beer, followed closely by Rush Hour. They do a great job with their milk stout variants, which kind of reminds me of how Hardywood has made a name for itself with that style. If Cake is your favorite, definitely look into trying some other milk stouts.

I have had Rush Hour which is very good. I also tried the BA rush hour but at the time, I don't think my pallette knew what the hell was going on. I had a Mikellers Milk Stout but it tasted rotten.

As for non milk stouts, I think I like midnight lightening because it punches you in the face, which sometimes is what I want. I don't mind the hot alcohol, which I have noticed. I also liked Highwater Campfire stout, not sure what style of stout that is.

Anybody know if they still have some of the mocha midnight? I wasn't able to make this last weekend and wanted to pick some up.

Going to be in Visalia this Friday and Saturday. Any good bottle shops in the area? Trying to pick up some bottles of the Tioga Cucumber Pilsner

I'm not sure about bottle shops in Visalia; maybe someone from the South Valley can chime in? There's Grangeville Liquor in Hanford. You should check SaveMart though; the Cucumbier Pils has hit their Fresno stores, so it's probably at the Visalia ones, or will be soon. Also, it looks like it's on tap at Pita Kabob - WAkers. Try to get to the Pita Kabob downtown gastropub location while you're there, though, for a reliably good taplist.

I really enjoy it, a very refreshing summer beer for our awful heat. It's probably not for anyone who's ambivalent about cucumber though.

Not a big selection in Visalia. Frank's Liquor, Rozi's, BevMo, Pita Kabob Gastropub Downtown, Save Mart.

Franks is the best bet usually in Visalia. Pitakabob has some bottles, and usually really solid tap lists. I avoid that Bevmo because they stock so much old product.

Grangeville Liquor probably has the best selection but the dude is downright ridiculous on most of his pricing. About a year or 2 ago he was selling bombers of sculpin for 15$, few weeks back he had grunnion 6pks for like 17$... Expect to pay 20-40% more at Grangeville
