I was with 3 other people and we all smelled the apricot but didn't taste any.

 

I got the same offer from Sixpoint, but I didn't get back to them. Jammer was really awful, but I'd probably at least try a taster of it again to revise my review after that gesture. Troy - was a new version included and is it better?

 

No it was some generic group on fb

 

Looking at it, it was a guy from Florida

 

Anyone know an Upland proxy? Asking for a friend (seriously).

 

Is the Sixpoint stuff we get still coming out of the Lion?

I don't know if it was the Lion's fault or just old beer, but the stuff I had from Sixpoint cans at a festival when they entered the market 2+ish years ago was just bad.

 

No way man! Their customer service assured me it was the same quality beer and my palate is wrong.

 

From what I know, they moved away from Lion about a year ago. Don't quote me on that though.

After a little searching of the forums (I mostly hide in this thread), it looks like I could have found the information on where your beer is currently brewed pretty quickly. I will admit to not having given Sixpoint another look since that initial impression, but if I happen across some again, I'll check it out.

Had some Jammer at Vintage Estates around Father's Day and found it to be pretty damn tasty. Was this a problems with cans only?

I wish I could. They're right down the hill from me, but I'm gonna be in Charlotte over the weekend.

Anyone have a beat on what the new beers will be? Saw a picture of 2013 Heini's Good Cheer on the Facebook event page... Can't imagine that would qualify as a "new" beer.

 

My guess is another fruited variant of the berliner, along with something else. But it is truly just a guess.

 

I will most likely be there! I'm down to share some suds with any other BA'ers.
