I see that BG is realeasing a Green Tea IPA today...if you have it, please report out. I'm on the fence about heading down there tonight. Thanks.

Glad you were able to make it. Especially after what sounds like a pretty full brew day!

Anybody happen to know of anywhere I can buy bottles of Draai Laag stuff tomorrow during the early afternoon? (Draai Laag doesn't open until 5pm, right?) Inside city limits is vastly preferable if possible.

Too bad Kennywood and Primanti's don't brew beer. All you haters would be singing their praises instead of being so negative towards them.

I'm not from Pittsburgh and I thoroughly enjoy taking out of town guests to all those places. I was at primantis like 2 weeks ago and slammed a cap sandwich and an iron city for like $9. And Kennywood is always fun.

You guys are just old fuddiduddies. Stop being such curmudgeons and enjoy some shit.

Wish I could give you a second "like" for the use of fuddiduddies

I'll echo this. I've only lived here for 3 years now but the incline is pretty cool and the view from Mt. Washington is awesome. I've only been to Primantis once but enjoyed it and Kennywood once about 6 years ago and didn't think it was bad.

I enjoy plenty of things, just not bad food. The food at Primanti's isn't good, IMO. The view from Mt. Washington really is spectacular, though.

Haha, yes I did. Haven't been there in years, but we definitely used to put a lot of effort into cultivating a good selection, etc.
And I don't know what you guys are talking about with this primantis hate. I still make it there regularly and bring most visiting friends at some point. It's a damn tasty sandwich and unique. I like big fat wangs.

That last sentence was obv not my doing. But worked better than I would've expected in the context of that post.

An awful lot of people like Primanti's. Seems like a case of negativity just for sake of being negative.

Marty's Market in the strip has several In 12oz, it's a cool store
Atlas in lawrenceville always carries 12 oz Draai laag bottles but sells fast, they carry a lot usually
99 bottles in Carnegie (little bit of a drive but not too bad maybe?) has a good variety of stuff, Goedenacht 22's,
Yodeler 12's were there last I saw
Whole Foods Wexford has a nice stock but getting further away I guess from city
Caliente Hampton has some DL bottles, not sure if the stores split it
smokin joes has r2 Koelschip bottles

Sidelines Milvale always has a couple of bottles too, and I would recommend this place to stop if you show for the Draai Laag Biergarten opening early, the wing sauces there are very tasty and you can grab an appetizer and a beer or two to kill time if need be (I might). I know they are opening at 5 pm sharp at DL. Pittsburgh smokehouse will be bringing the BBQ. ill be a big guy in a Draai laag shirt, ask for Dutch or mike and I'll try my best to hang with you if I have found a safe ride home. speaking of which i think uber is a swell option if anyone has a bit too much. cheers!

    1. We were brought into the thread by @Stigs who decided to write disparaging things about our company in a PGH thread. You do not have the authority to tell us (or anyone on this site) they have no right to be here. The moderators will handle that.

    2. Once again, as recognized by a wide margin and majority of folks, who have already provided the testimony, our customer service speaks for itself, noted and appreciated by many. Good companies attract good customers. Apple, Union Square Hospitality Group - these are our role models.

Everyone is familiar with this story by now - but once again, we have not had a single correspondence from @Stigs to have a productive conversation. Perhaps one day he will, until then, our lines are open!

    cheers PGH

They just started canning Pour Jugement IPA. It was specialty brewed for a bar in newport but was so popular they decided to go full production on it. Ive only had it on draft but enjoy it every time. You should see if you can give it a try.

My only mention of Primanti's was in hopes that another article boasting Pittsburgh wouldn't center solely around them. There isn't one negative word associated with them in my post. I didn't compare them to special needs children. Because that would be awful.

I agree. There is so much more to Pittsburgh than a Primanti's sandwich (the Strip is still the best) and Kennywood. I work Downtown, and the ongoing development is incredible. For me, I wish the new and upcoming aspects of Pittsburgh were featured more, along with the old favs.
