    Fremont just posted today about harvesting the fresh hops for Cowiche Canyon this year, so I imagine the release will be in a couple weeks or so. Stay tuned.

    Yup, and as soon as I saw it this morning, I shamelessly copied all the info I didn't already have into my spreadsheet. I guess Ezra has created spreadsheets in years past, too. Not sure why he bothers with IBUs, though; it's an imperfect measurement for consumers under the best of circumstances. Fresh hops are often not tested for alpha acids prior to harvest, and in many cases the fresh hops are added after the boil (no isomerization), so the link between IBUs and hop "presence" is even more tenuous.

    Cheers to him for chasing down a lot of info from different breweries, though. I know how that goes.

    It might've been. I've only heard professor Shellhammer talking about it in passing but apparently his predecessor wanted to attempt it but there wasn't interest or tools to do it at the time.

    Had a Straight Outta Hopton by Aslan last night. 50 lbs of Chinook in the hop-back, and Simcoe (I think, maybe Summit. definitely a "S" hop) in the boil. Pretty tasty.

    Had Cruxarillo and Off the Fence tonight, each was good but not great. Had to get a taste of Cruxtennial again to make sure, and that beer is great IMO. Hope somebody in Bend gets FH Workhorse soon.

    Looks like Fremont brewed Cowiche yesterday. No word on any variants like last year.

    Reuben's did their Amarillo fresh hop yesterday, too. Looks like 9/29 release date.

    Although I got my flip-top full of Breakside's FH Simcoe, I'm heading to GGs for more FH Cascade, tomorrow (maybe?)...fresh hopping!

    Had a fresh hop pale at Drake's - pretty tasty. Also had a fresh hop fusion IPA at Lagunitas which was f*cking horrible (no surprise, there).

    Got (2) FH Wanderlust crowlers & a FH pale from Santiam in Salem, awaiting my draining of recent growler-fills of Breakside's FH Simcoe from Growlers Hawthorne. W/ their FH Mosaic & H.U.B.'s FH stock OTW, blessed be!

    What's the consensus on Lagunitas selling 50%? Can't imagine it's a bother, here. It was nice to balance my Jai Alai consumption w/ kegs of Lil' Sumpin', over a year ago...in Orlando.
