The other thread title is confusing, since there will be Wet this year. Any ideas on the hops that will be used in 2015? Also how much will be made and shipped to IA/IL/WI?

It would be nice if they used MN hops but I have not heard anything along those lines. I liked the MI Centennial (or was it Cascade?)hopped one despite the overwhelming disapproval of most in this forum. Just as long as it is not Citra hopped, I will be happy.

Hoping for citra and mosaic, but it will most likely be German hops they saw on their recent trip to Germany in sure

I would be happy with a German hopped one. Those would have to be coming in soon.

I think the costs of shipping fresh hops from Germany would be cost prohibitive

Seems like they're using those two to keep Axe Man in kegs. I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if Wet was the same.

Lol sorry I was told specifically not to share it, yet from someone at the brewery. They are pretty strict on that I guess? Don't wanna get anyone in trouble.

Because there are huge repercussions for posting something on an online forum that was told by someone at the brewery? If it's that big of a secret, they probably wouldn't go around telling people.

Obviously it's a test. They give each employee slightly different info. See which gets leaked, and then "bring the hammer down."

Which means it's in "our" (non-employee) best interest to share whatever we hear, so that the process can work and Surly can weed out the leakers.
