    Having silly issues & making them known (however specious) made me appreciate the desire for a general Breakside thread to defy bumping.

    Please share all input concerning this fine establishment & bask in the love of beer we all share!

    Fresh hop simcoe is the best wet hop beer I've had so far this season. Bravo breakside.

    I actually thought the FH Wanderlust was the best of the bunch this year. At least as of Saturday, the Simcoe, Mosaic and FH Wanderlust were all on tap at the Tap and Growler here in Eugene. $20 got a growler and grumbler of the Wanderlust, which got me through football Saturday and Sunday very, very nicely.

    I will be very sad when fresh hop/wet hop season is over.

    Does anyone know if they released a version of the Bourbon Barrel Aztec this year?
    That's my favorite seasonal of theirs, and if they did release it this year - I must have missed it...

    Did anyone get the 1st, unfiltered Simcoe version? I'm not really sure it left Milwaukie (maybe a keg for New Avenues). THAT batch was leaps & bounds over any other freshie...Wanderlust was a great one, too.

    Just got a plastic shopping bag of fresh-cut hops for a tip!

    Time to experiment w/ hop bitters & hopped gin!

    Thanks for starting this thread guys! We're always happy to answer questions, address feedback, etc. Glad everyone liked the fresh hop beers this year.

    @JouerAvecLeFeu: BB Aztec will be released mid-December this year. Last release of that was May 2014, so you haven't missed out on any this year.

    I should also mention that La Tormenta will start rolling out in the next week or two, draft first then bottles.

    1) Yes-- we're planning to release a new batch of it sometime in May or June of 2016.

    2) That project is on hold due to zoning issues. The original space we had zeroed in on did not work out, so that project has been put on the back burner. I don't know that it's never going to happen, but I wouldn't your breath. It's a bummer because it's a project that many of us in the brewery were very excited about, but we ran into a case of bad timing.

    Fremont's Cowiche made one helluva an effort, but unfiltered Simcoe is tops...maybe ever for any beer I've yet had!

    1) Cool. Will be looking forward to that release. I only got one bottle pf the initial release. Won't make the same mistake next time.

    2). Sad to hear, but I understand. That project sounded like my dream restaurant. Hope something eventually pans out.

    Feels good to keep it (save BB Aztec) all Deutschbier.

    Mein Gott in Himmel, Ansatz (bourbon barrel smoked bock) is transcendent! & I left the whiskey behind, long ago.

    The pinot-barrel smoked lager is easily the best lager I've had (not a lager drinker at all, mind you!).

    Some good-lookin' new taps & Milwaukie...looking fwd to a flight & a fill, real soon! Amber rye & BA quad have my interest piqued...been too long for a fill of good ol' Wanderlust!
