I picked up some Union Draft Duckpin in the Springfield Total Wine during lunchtime.

1st time I have seen in VA.

Bluejacket has about ~150 of Barrel Aged Double Mexican Radio left as of a couple hours ago.

I'm making a trip up from Southern VA to north of Baltimore next week... any tips on where I definitely need to hit? I'm familiar with the best spots in DC proper, but I'd like to avoid going into the city for Bluejacket or WF P St. Assuming BA Mex Radio will be out by Wednesday, anyway? And there's no fresh OTWOA, is there? I'm less familiar with Baltimore distro stuff, anyway, if anyone has suggestions for places to stop or recent releases to pick up in that region... much appreciated!

 

I would consider Ocelot out near Dulles. No bottles or cans, but fantastic beers and growler fills. In my opinion, they are brewing the best beer in the area, especially if you like IPAs. It might be a little out of the way, but a good vibe and great beer.

 

You beat me to it. Ocelot was my rec as well.

 

You gotta mention Adriot, Ocelot is good but IMO Adroit takes the cake out there, i know they dont brew the same thing a lot but I love their experimental take on beer... for example a coffee barrel aged IPA.... whhhhat? I know... doesn't make sense but its fun to drink outside the box. (<---- see what i did there...)

 

Saw a few 4-packs of Backwoods Bastard at WF Duke St. $12.99 per, which is the best price I've seen in the area.

They had Punishment too, but at about $20. I passed.

 

13 bucks for BB is amazing. I'd jump on that

Nothing from a bottle perspective, but there's a keg of it at tomorrow's Rustico event.

 

Was just in Richmond today and a few TWs got bottles, they are gone now. Think they lasted 3 hours.

 

Lots of winter beers rolled into Perfect Pour in the last 24 hours. I'm honestly more excited about the Victory Harvest and Terrapin So Fresh, So Green (19.2oz can). Also, hearing good things about Abita Mother Shucker Oyster Stout. Grabbed that too.
